Author Guidelines

Abditani: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat

1. General Information
Abditani: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat publishes scientific articles based on community service and empowerment activities. The manuscript should present the implementation of community service programs that are innovative, impactful, and based on scientific reasoning. Manuscripts must be original, have not been published elsewhere, and are not under consideration in other journals.

2. Manuscript Submission

  • Manuscripts must be submitted through the Online Journal System (OJS) at the Abditani website.

  • Authors must register and log in to submit manuscripts.

  • All correspondence, revisions, and publication processes will be conducted through the OJS platform.

3. Manuscript Format

  • The manuscript should be written in English (preferably) or Bahasa Indonesia.

  • Manuscripts should be typed in Microsoft Word, using A4 paper size, Times New Roman, 12 pt, single spacing, and margins of 2.5 cm on all sides.

  • The manuscript length is 5–10 pages, including figures and tables.

4. Manuscript Structure
The manuscript should be organized as follows:

  1. Title – Concise, informative, and written in sentence case (maximum 15 words).

  2. Author(s) and Affiliation(s) – Full name(s), institution, and email address of the corresponding author.

  3. Abstract – Written in English and Bahasa Indonesia (150–250 words each), containing background, objectives, methods, results, and conclusion.

  4. Keywords – 3–5 keywords separated by commas.

  5. Introduction – Includes background, problem identification, objectives, and relevance of the community service.

  6. Methods – Describes the approach, participants, location, and stages of implementation.

  7. Results and Discussion – Explains the outcomes of the activity, analysis, and benefits for the community.

  8. Conclusion – Summarizes the main findings and recommendations for future activities.

  9. Acknowledgment (optional) – To express gratitude to funding bodies, partners, or individuals who contributed.

  10. References – Written according to APA (7th edition) style, with at least 10 recent and relevant references.

5. Tables and Figures

  • Tables and figures must be numbered consecutively and cited in the text.

  • Titles should be clear and placed above (for tables) or below (for figures).

  • Images must be of high resolution (minimum 300 dpi).

6. Citation and Reference Style

  • References and in-text citations should follow the APA 7th Edition style.

  • Use reference management tools such as Mendeley or Zotero.

7. Plagiarism Policy
All manuscripts are checked using plagiarism detection software. Manuscripts with a similarity index exceeding 20% will be returned to the author for revision or rejected.

8. Review Process

  • All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer-review process.

  • The editorial board reserves the right to edit manuscripts for clarity, style, and consistency without changing their substance.

9. Publication Ethics
Authors must comply with ethical standards of scientific publication, avoiding plagiarism, data fabrication, and authorship misconduct.
