Plagiarisme Screening

To maintain the originality and academic integrity of the articles published, Abditani: Journal of Community Engagement implements a plagiarism screening process for all manuscripts submitted by authors.

Plagiarism Screening Policy

  1. All submitted manuscripts will be checked for similarity using plagiarism detection software such as Turnitin or iThenticate.

  2. The maximum acceptable similarity index is 20%. Manuscripts with a similarity level exceeding this threshold will be returned to the author for revision or rejected.

  3. The plagiarism check is conducted before the review process and after the final revision to ensure that the final version is free from plagiarism.

  4. The following forms of plagiarism are strictly prohibited:

    • Copying text from another work without proper citation.

    • Inadequate paraphrasing without appropriate acknowledgment.

    • Reusing data, images, or tables without permission and proper citation.

  5. Authors are fully responsible for ensuring the originality of their work and must confirm that the manuscript has not been previously published elsewhere.

Sanctions

If plagiarism is detected after publication, the editorial board reserves the right to retract the article and issue an official notice on the journal’s website.
